Sleeping at the shipper and reciever

This happened to me about two weeks ago. Line 5'd it across town to Walmart and took a ####.
God I love line 5.

 

Did you just one video or all of them why would he be in a truck posing as a trucker? If he giving a opinion on something is it that big of a deal? If I said Dove soap cleans my ### better are you gonna say "oh he doesn't know what he's talking about Irish Spring is the best soap" or are you like the rest the world's opinion on truck drivers you don't take a bath?

 

He was homeless too that guy has been thru a lot

 

Ive never had my dispatcher push me to drive my full 11. If Im tired I stop. The only one not making money is me.

 

I have had them run me down to 3 or 4 minutes of my 11.....I did not work there for long!!

 

I just watched part of the video posted at the top of the thread.

Why would he pose as a trucker, I don't know. But why would he say a person who drives a truck that's governed at 65 would lose 715 miles if they lost an 11 hour driving day? That's a ridiculous statement to make. All of his 'numbers' seem ridiculous to be honest.

I would agree that it can be an advantage to sleep at the shipper/consignee in the right circumstances but the idea that you can come out close 30k ahead in a year by doing so is nonsense.

 

I would've had a few choice words for that dispatcher and paid him a visit when I turned in my truck

 

I run my clocks down to 2 or 3 minutes all the time. It depends on how much progress I was able to make that day. If Its painfully obvious that I know Im not able to make my receiver in my drive time, I start looking for a place to park when I have an hour left.

 

Id like to make it known, my dispatcher doesnt run my truck I do. I run as hard as I possibly can. The more efficient I am the more money I make, but IF I am tired, i pull off.
