I get so tired of them candy canes that complain about reefers parking next to them at the truck stop. You chose to be a truck driver. Get over your whiney self and man up. Complaining about noise at a truck stop or rest area is about as 8 year old girl as you can get,

Amen. The other day I parked in dodge city for the night and 90 percent of the trucks were cattle pots I hadda sleep with a fabric softener sheet next to my nose but it never occurred to me to whine about it lol truckin is as truckin does its ALL sorta comforting at the end of the day.

I hear ya.I look at it this way,as long as its a public place for trucks it doesn't matter who parks where.Folks don't like certain trucks then I suggest them find another line of work because all different types of hauling is everywhere.

When I was first starting out (in a reefer) a flatbedder tried to get confrontational when I backed in next to him. He said, "why did you park next to me when there's an open spot over there?" (The spot he meant was on the end of the row at a sharp turn and anybody parking there was begging to have their nose peeled off). I told him, "I think you just solved your own problem." and walked inside. That was the last I heard out of him.

I just roll my window back up halfway thru the whine rant. I'm about the most courteous driver out there but that garbage just irks me.

The cattle trucks is a acquired smell just put your candy cane close to your nose if it gets to bad. The worse thing in my opinion is when there is wildfires and that smoke is in the air.
