i wouldn’t even mess with Waste management or any trash haulers for that matter. A county job has potential to be a pretty sweet gig tho. Not the best paying, but you get good bennies, an excellent schedule, bankers hours, & a pension.

 

like @Chinatown said.... Apply even if it says one year experience. I work an LTL Team job, I was hired right out of school. They hired four people from the same school to work local delivery in the last quarter.

Companies hire people when they need them and disregard the one year ALL the time.

 

Yeah, that doesn’t sound so great... I’ve had better luck working local. First one was four 12-hour shifts per week (with option for a fifth, totally voluntary). The other, five 10-12 hour shifts per week. 15 minute commute.
