    I thought I read somewhere, if you release and stab the throttle 3 times, it overrides the gubnor, so you can make a pass, is that true?:dontknow: If so, I bet not many know about that.

    That is a feature called PasSmart, and it has to be programmed in by the company.

    I had it at Swift.
    We (regular company drivers) are governed at 65, and with PasSmart we can get to 68 to make passing easier.
    It is limited to 1 hour per day, so it won't save much time if you just try to use it to make speed and time. But it is real nice when passing someone going 63 or 64.

    Not so nice are the drivers that are cruising at 63 and speed up to 68-70 when I tried to pass them. I would fall back behind them and they would go back to 63, again and again.

    That seems to happen more often now too. My truck is governed at 72. I think it needs to be 75.

    If being mean and rude were considered a crime, how many people would not be in jail? It seems more the norm these days, especially when driving.
