Just like many people in MN not caring about red lights.
Red just means faster to them, or continue on to block the intersection.

It happens even at higher speeds. I can do 75 . Usually cruise at 70 and go to pass someone they speed up to 75 i fall back behind they slow down... Rinse and repeat all day long. Sure drives me crazy. Sometimes i got to pull over a extra couple times a day to kick the tires and reset my sanity

That little 5 minute rest break can save your sanity. and prevent you from running into that rude driver again.

I liked my 65 mph governed truck with the ability to speed up just a bit.
People passing me all day long, and most of those faster trucks were running in a tight bunch trying to pass everyone and each other to gain a few seconds of time that would not actually help them at the end of the day.

I would be a jerk sometimes, making that driver with 1 mph over me trying to pass with a whole line of vehicles behind them really work for it - because it is so pointless. How much time can they save with 1 mph?
Just as their trailer cleared my front bumper I would slow down by 5 because I knew they would cut me off.
No sweat to me, I had planned my time for delivery correctly and I could afford an extra 30 seconds of 60 mph.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

I don’t care about that so much IF they maintain that pace if that’s how they want to run.

I can’t tell you how irritating it is for some ###hole to take 10 miles passing me only to get by, come back over, and then slow down to less than what I got my cruise set at.

Doesn't it make you think that we are the sane generation(s), and those after us are progressively more unsane?
It really seems so to me.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Unsane should really be a real word.
It means less sane, prior to being totally insane.

201, D.Tibbitt and gentleroger Thank this.
