and what are you saying, he was more than just a driver?
Think about it , how many COMPANY drivers buy their OWN trailers ? they guy was an OWNER OPERATOR ( had his own tractor / trailer ) not just a MARTEN driver. MARTEN had a few working there when I worked there in the 80's

I think he missed his own point
he posted knowning a MARTEN driver ( 28 years ) that had his own trailer so I kind of get the feeling the guy was not JUST a company driver.
Anyhow as this is Smaggs thread I will not get it any further off subject than it already is. -

holy cow... my truck dash is in more pieces than I can count! Marten sprung for a motel room nearby. So I can do my downloads... shower... and sleeeeeeeeep ZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!
I'll either have a fixed truck in the morning or another one ready to be issued to me. Hoping the next one is new.
