Watch out Indy Terminal. Smaggs is coming to the yard and his feather duster is locked and loaded.

Can't you get through the indy terminal without going through the inspection lane? You are only required to go through it once every 30 days, that's what i do.

The desoto term made me go through twice in one day in July. Shift change. My fleet manager laughed. I wasn't in a hurry, so it was ok. And they let me read my hours and didn't get in

The best terminal for inspection is wilsonville, hardly nobody ever there. Ontario is another story, it took over 2 hrs, and I was in a hurry. That place is a p.i.t.a

I don't know brother.....I think you said it best when you said you needed to get out of this industry.......you're taking this stuff wayyyyy too personal....
listen to your Youtube post again and listen to the rage you have because some douchebag sat on your bed. I admit, it would chap me a bit too, but I wouldn't go to jail for it.
Also, remember, all Martin did to you was give you the job you asked for.....do the decent thing and quit on good terms. Maybe a couple of weeks off might help??? At any rate, that rage is gonna put you in a bad spot if you're not careful....take care, brother....

    Dinomite and 1026 Thank this.

Smaggs you are my man I love all your posts, tell it like it is, this guy should have respected your office ,your living room, your bedroom, I mean thats aggravating as hell when someone doesn't realize how their insentivity towards others that have high hygene standards can get huffy when they put their kuttys all over the place after you in your normal daily routine keep it clean. I say you were really pissed. See Ya

it's all better now. I got the gritty stuff and the pebbles cleaned up again. It was nice to hear the other lane guy yesterday questioning the fact and seeming annoyed with the fact that the first lane guy was wanting to jump in trucks. I heard the other one say he didn't want to get in there.

I don't know about you, but I feel weird getting in other trucks. Even when another driver is asking for help with APU or other controls. I will always happily help, but I avoid getting in another person's private living quarters.

Living on the road... my sleeper is my man cave. I even keep a bass guitar with my stuff and I don't want anyone touching it.

None of this is going to matter soon, anyway. I'm desperately trying to find decent income that doesn't require me to leave town. I have a ton of things I need to do and I've been trapped OTR since last Spring.

I have some days where OTR is awesome, but as time passes, I feel closer and closer to being against it. So I'm actively taking steps to get out.

I would consider local trucking. I would even consider being gone a few nights a week sometimes, but weeks at a time away from home? Not working out at all.
