Smaggs goes to Marten. My Experience with Marten Transport.

wow, way to go guys......Smaggs is a good driver and does nothing but contribute to this forum and you chased him away.

Marten has turned into knight. 1 of the big wigs that use to be at knight is at marten now. When he came in is when things went to hell with marten. I spent 4.5 years at marten. I finally quit a month ago and could not be happier. I am now making good money and home every week. Most people in my fleet make 60k+ a year. A few have got into the 70k a year.
I will tell you that you will never get paid a #### load of money right out of trucking school. Most companies that pay good require experience. It took me almost 7 years b4 I got a good paying job.
For those that say DieselDucy Got fired for his youtube videos. I have talked with him in a group on facebook. The 1 that got him fired was when he was shooting a video while driving. They fired him for unsafe driving.

 

Ah, c'mon Smaggs, don't let the ######## get you down. Get a regional job, like others have suggested, or do like me, and get a motel room at least once a week, and get out of the frigging truck for awhile! You would be surprised how much that can help.

 

He will be back. Just needs to cool off I'm sure. Just like the 28345 times he's threatened to quit trucking since he started blogging

That would be Tim Kohl. Presiedant of Marten Transport, which he has held now for a couple of years. Randy is still chairman of the board.

 

Im ok, just thanking my lucky stars that I came to marten 4 years ago. Lol
