Water pump has a small leak
How much antifreeze will it leak in a week?

tough to say, drips, droplets, squirting it out, pouring out. don't take too long to get it fixed. the summertime and the a/c on stresses the cooling system.

Approximately a little bit times seven. Give or take.

You do carry extra coolant with you and check the level regularly, correct?

The bigger question is what is the cost to tow and replace an engine vs fixing a water pump gasket leak?

If it's a newer truck, it should tell you when the reservoir level goes low. Don't ever disregard this particularly in the middle of summer.

When your truck starts talking to you, it's a good idea to listen.

    Wow.

Just get it fixed, nothing like getting pulled into a scale, getting a level one and then be told "oh you have a leak, can't move it, get it fixed or towed to get it fixed ... please sign here."

    Grubby Thanks this.
