In light of the thread about creating a new big stop I'd like to know what peoples favorite small time stops are. Mine is on 101 in northern califonia. Family owned, plenty of space, resturuant and private driving school on site. Just needs a face lift, since it was built in the 50's

Triple-T on the east side of Tucson along 10 fwy. FULL SERVICE fuel (including cleaning your lights and mirrors, checking your oil, etc)! Great coffee, VERY nice people. Havent had the food there yet, but others say it's LEGENDARY.
They have hotel rooms on site also. -
Always like to hear about the good places.

Stockmen's in South St. Paul isn't bad. Lousy parking lot, but a decent (albeit small) restaurant. In the immediate area, it's slim pickin's for truck stops.

I don't know the name of the truck stop but there is one in kentland IN on us 41 nice food real home town feel, plenty of parking, lots of holes

I-71 x-151 Duke Travel Plaza, Chesterville Ohio. It's no longer a truck stop. They closed the parking off,dug up the diesel tanks and pumps, closed the garage and the choke an puke is gone as of Sep 30 2008. Just a 4 wheeler gas station now but used to be great food, nice people and ALWAYS had a hand full of open spots in the back.

There's a small one at US33 and US127 in Ohio. I don't remember the name and the lot is small but they have great food at a decent price and the people are friendly.
I assume it's still there as I haven't been up that way in about 9 years. -
