I've been thinking about buying that car since I saw it for the first time about 5 years ago in Europe. I'm still thinking about buying one, after seeing this video, I'm one step closer to buying it. I've researched this car over and over. The safety rating on this car according to the federal government is better than a Toyota Corolla. Based on this video, both these people in that Smart car walked away from a T-Bone accident at what, 45 mph? Not bad. Too bad GM can't figure out after all these years what to do about a faulty ignition that's killed a bunch of people over the years.

That passenger's right arm went out the window and the 2nd car rammed him on his side. That guy is lucky to have his right hand that went out the window.

Dang... Not that they couldn't have been hurt anyway, but they were up and walking around.

They haven't figured out how to blame the nearest truck driver yet?

They're working on it now. I'm sure Russia has a few ambulance chasing lawyers around.

yep, good safety, both from this car keep walking. but many smart drivers say that they had stability problems relatad with wind and one man told me his smart was blown to ditch when big rig overtook him at 65 mph
