    I'm just curious, what does being owned by u s express have to do with haulig logs? LOL Also, I believe Smith is breakig away from us express. Smith is also haulig tankers in PA for the gas industry, but I guess thats cause of the us express conection also, whatever that means:biggrin_25523:

    One of their biggest customers is gladfelter paper they've been hauling paper for them for years if you go to any of their mills you'll see smith trailers there. I've been seeing smith trucks pulling log trailers on 17 in va I was wondering where they were going

    It has to do with the bigger the company the more types of freight they haul. Why because they under cut the prices so much to get the freight they have to haul lots more of it to make a profit.
