Smith Transport in Marcellus Shale

    Yeah, from what I was told, Wet gas and dry gas was both around $4 per unit but then dry gas shot down under $1 so that's why most packed up and left NE Pa/ Southern NY, but yeah, companies can produce more bi-products with wet gas so that demand is still up, but dry gas has limited use. Also last I heard, they had no way to pipe it to buyers/refineries to be used so I heard that pipelines were under construction now. That's why SE Ohio, SW Pa and a lot of WV are still busy drilling and fracking for wet gas. Still see ads for sand can drivers in them areas

    Early last year I was hauling palitized chemicals, barite, lime, etc for drilling mud with flatbed to only maybe 3 wells up here in NE and 3 or so total up in Clermont, Pa, so yeah, went to a crawl

    It's the same company and it pays better than the over-the-road drivers hauling cheap Freight. Last time I talked to them they were still putting you up in a hotel somewhere in southwestern Pennsylvania near the job site
