I was a current driver just took leave of absent earlier this month going back tomorrow and finish where I left off it is a good company just have to get use to it and yes they have a lot of freight that goes up that way
-
I had a nice 2014 lonestar before I left so I hope they don't try to throw me in an automatic 2016 freightliner when I get there tomorrow
-
There running some auto's now?
-
Yes sir not all but a few
-
Do you mind if I pm you? I have a few q's
-
Yes you can pm me I don't mind
-
been here 11 years no problems, run my loads don't complain, get miles, make a good living, not all freight is created equall, have alot of drop n hooks but some live loads, have good days and bad days out here, far from a bottom feeder, always have a preplan befor I get mt. Usally when we get a negative review, it from a driver who won't drive a night and is afraid of n.y. city or is just laze. This is a trucking company, we move frieght were are customers need it, and my trk is far from shiny, drive a cascadia. If you want to make good mony you have to work for it and do it here. Have nothing negative to say about any other companies out her, there pretty much all the same, just have to make it work for you and Smith works for me. DRIVE SAFE.
5speed, RookieJ1987 and born&raisedintheusa Thank this. -
They definitley could pay a little better but I agree, not a bad company. Can't believe my recruiter, Rob, is still there!
At least not bad when I left 10 years ago, lol. -
They aren't that bad. They pay is kinda eh...
I know one thing is for sure, you are almost 99% NOT going to get any other truck than a Cascadia. They are getting rid of all he hoods slowly, and there are very few Cornodo's and lonestars left. So if you are only looking to work there for those trucks just move on and find somewhere else, I'm telling you, you'll be let down, don't let a recruiter BS you, they will tell you "Theres a good chance we can get you in the truck you want" but then you'll get there and see two rows of Cascadia's lined up where the class trucks are parked lol.
