There are also literally hundreds of themed cruises focused on every possible interest you might have (astronomy, history, film, fitness, every style of music, ad infinitum). The variety is unbelievable.

I could never take a cruise. 2.5k people stuck on a quarter mile long steel tub? Not for me!

I get in a room with more than 4 people and I start looking for the exit!

    *shudder*

On local news this morning they say some cruise lines are now offering as low as $60.00 a day

Thats what I always felt until my ex convinced me to try it. Now go on 3-4 every year. Ships are so big with so much to do that you don't ever have to be in a crowd.

No way to do everything even in 7 days. Just too much on offer. Royal and carnival typical just do week long cruises with a few longer ones. However I've seen small luxury liners that only house 2k people at a time run the 30+ day cruises. Even one cruise Liner that does year long cruise. Around 35k per person for the cheapest room however I feel a whole year is just too long on a ship but cheaper than rent per year in many areas of the country.

Forgot to mention each room price is for 2 so that's 70k for cheapest room.

Ralph4159, Lonesome and stuckinthemud Thank this.
