Had my first cargo claim today. Looks like a forklift went right into one of the packages so they rejected it. Now I'm to wait for claims to ask JBS what they want me to do with it.

My 2nd stop was willing to take it off my hands but alas company said no.

Parked at the TA over here hoping I don't sit more than a day cause it's over $20 a day here! Still need to get trailer washed out as well.

Unless we lost freight with Unilever then we should have plenty of preloads there.

Whole service failures is probably why a lot of freight now has unproductive appointments set a whole extra day out. Very hard to be late on those and they can use them to push their on time load count numbers up to salvage some contracts.

 

Have them pay for the reserved parking if not refuse to go to places where there's no parking around that's a deduction for them and a hit for us

 

Once again, some drops an mt reefer trl in a yard like this…lazy bums.

 

Of you End up having to pump it 1000 times id want to be paid for that bs to prime it wmt does that sometimes yard dogs run out fuel and your stuck priming...

Must be hurting for loads out of Cali at the moment. No loads available today so get to do another reset.

Sent 2 short preplans, 1st is a live out of Riverside,CA for a next day Walmart drop in Arizona. Then next load is a preload at a JBS plant headed right back for a live in Modesto, CA.

Looks like I'm stuck in the Cali loop for the time being.

Thankfully I won't have to pay the $25/day fee of this TA since I spending more than that on food sitting here.

My next cruise can't come soon enough.

 

Idk how much time you have left on your 34, but there's a mall on the otherside of the interstate with a movie theater and Dave and busters. About a 10-20min walk from the truckstops.

 

I'll keep that in mind the next time I get hung up in the LA area.

Heading to lineage tomorrow for a live. Hopefully they don't take too long but it's just a short 400 mile distance to the Walmart DC to drop.
