Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

I've never received this mag over Pnet but thats a start of a departure for many if so...

 

According to aschoff on YouTube yesterday he stated that they are trying to bid again on contracts and hope to get the freight back and get more… They’ve lost a lot of freight because of their nonsense… I’m just glad I’m not there anymore and done with that nonsense because right now where I’m at after my load that I’m picking up off the yard today and dropping Sunday in Utah in my next load I’m on pace to have around 13,500 miles my first month here… We’re not slow simply because we know how to operate over here contrary to Lincoln…

 

That explains why I didn't get a preplan for today. Looking like I'll be sitting till Monday in South Florida, unless weekend finds something

 

Got a preplan. Deadhead 450 miles to pick up a load in Georgia, then drive 270 miles back into Florida to deliver.

More deadhead than loaded miles but I'm not complaining.

 

They all of a sudden decided to start running me hard this week.

Current load was a live for 1pm at a Walmart DC which went well but next load won't be ready till 6pm at the earliest. Has to be up in Murfreesboro before 9pm tomorrow. Currently parked and just killing time till load is ready. No matter how I look at it, I'll either have to deal with morning Atlanta traffic or afternoon Atlanta traffic. Just depends on when I stop.

Then next load after that is another preload just a stone throw away that picks up tomorrow anytime and has to run all the way to Bethlehem, PA by 2200 on the 26th.

That one really good but pushing 800 miles in a 24 hour period while running on recaps will be tough.

As much as I hate Florida I wouldn't mind just running Georgia/Florida back to back during the winter season to avoid the snow.

 

Was going good for too long, so was over due for an issue. Load was suppose to be ready by 6pm yesterday and it's now close to 4am next day but trailer still not loaded. Shipper says they have product shortage so might be another 12 hours before they start loading and dispatch says to just wait and send in a detention msg.

 

Like clockwork..get txt from crete recruiting…so they have been blocked..lol

I wouldn't block 'em, I would mess with 'em! "yeah, I'm considering coming back....."

 

Say sure..if you can put me in the equipment i drive now and guarantee the miles that im getting now, i might consider it..lol
