unsafe also, that's the hood & anyone can steal em bananas, many times trailer isn't sealed due to prior driver not wanting to lose their load locks - I dont blame them - watch out for the craters, drug baggies & occasional (assuming its drugs or diabetes) laying around there from time to time - PIA to get in & out, Ive done 10s there sadly

 

I think they have a local driver(s) that just pickup and drop the banana loads there. They do the same down in Tampa.

 

you can do a 10 at the Tampa banana location, always bananas going out (Galveston,Tx also), leave the local banana driver (Andy I believe) the 2 load Bars & clean trailer, it is humid at the lot across from the port but theres usually parking & its typically a decent run (for me its been to MN, Chicago area, even Denver, CO area) unless they have you T-Call it at a yard or drop lot... Question - do you guys think in January there will be a pay +/or detention bump due to inflation or the fact that theres not even a $ign on bonus to new recruits says it all?

 

I see our Insurance Deductable went up.

 

Doubt we will see a pay increase anytime soon. Think someone asked that during one of their updates a few months back and the answer was we already had 3 increases in a year's time.

Only way another raise will happen is if all their contracts agree to increase the payout.

Maybe surge pay will come back sometime in 2023 but not a straight up cpm bump
