Isn't that a cut in pay? I know at Crete my average week is around $1900. Good luck, hope it's what you're looking for.

My average at Shaffer was around $1100. Not just me but a lot of drivers sitting all the time. I would get runs like live pu Monday going 500 miles for a live unload on Wednesday, then next pu is also a live but on Thursday so with a full 70 I'll only run 1900 - 2100 miles in a week...

For 2022 I only hit 75k/gross for the year. OTR team as well. Edit - Just realized it might sound like I was team driver lol No, just part of the OTR crew.

If the guarantee is real and easy to keep that's a guarantee of 70k at Martin but from what I'm told it's easy to make more than that.

If everything runs good should only need the guarantee pay on hometime weeks.

Mostly just wanted to try something new. Marten is also the first company for me that doesn't tell you where to fuel. Their card only works at Pilot/Flying J but you can pick any one along your route to fuel at.

Will see how things turn out. Will leave feedback as time goes on since very little recent info on here from Marten drivers, let alone new Marten drivers.

Hope this works out for you, I had no idea that the Shaffer guys were sitting that much. I've had a mechanical issue last week and another shipper issue and still managed to get around $1500 with detention and a short pay. Good luck, I'm glad you like the reefer freight, I don't think I could do it. Don't like sitting that much. Keep us updated.

Wasn't every week but happened at least once sometimes twice a month.

Would get $1400 - $1600 net checks for 2 - 3 weeks then 4 - 8 weeks of $800 - $1200 net checks. Didn't help that no matter how hard I ran I was still making less than 50% of the fleet if the ads they post are to be believed.

Hoping this account keeps me running.
