    I would be surprised if other companies do the same thing. Typical corporate greed. Wonder if the ceo is cutting his pay.

    Wow a pay decrease... just left 2 days ago holy smokes... first take the surge pay away during inflation times now this and I hear inward facing cams in summer wow wonder how many are gonna leave

    Doesn't look like a pay decrease for current drivers, just lowering starting pay for new ones. The surge pay was never going to be permanent, it would have been nice, but we got like at least a 7cpm increase since 2020. Idk if that's standard across the industry or higher or lower. Honestly if you want a significant pay increase you have to get a new job, most companies don't give decent raises, not just in trucking but anywhere.

    you get bet your bottom dollar that drivers coming in at a lower pay rate would be utilize better than the ones at the higher rate… Ones at the higher pay rate will be sitting more with the excuses that Freight is slow

    A sitting truck costs money. A moving one makes money. They don't give a hoot about the driver, it's all about the equipment.
