snag in the road

    got my cdl's , found out through cr england - old warrant from 1999, have to turn self in to resolve , what effect is this going have ??:biggrin_2555:

    cost you a little dough. what is your warrant? felony? if so, then im not sure you'll be free to drive. if not, then you'll probably just pay the fine or what not then you should be good. its usually felonies that compabies look at.

    Was is the old warrent for?
    That is the main thing. Do you still live in the area the warrent was issued in???
    Kinda funny the cops never could find you but England runs a check and you find out your a wanted person..

    since no marshals or even local pd came after, im going to guess it was a misdemeanor. it makes me wonder th8ugh, if you have had a warrant for 13 years, how have you been getting your license renewed? dmv's usually pop up warrants when you enter your name and/or license number.

    Thanks for the replies,

    old dui warrent in FLA, living in SC ,tallahasse sent letter asking for $175.00 reinstatement fee, sent it , thought over and done with
    SC said ok no restrictions, no disqualifications , ok to get cdl's so i did

    then you should be fine. most companies only go back 7 to 10 years on duis i think.
