The phrase that pays is DHU.......driver hand unload........
Super Valu in Quincy Fl.......only took me 2 days to get it all off.......LOL!!!!
But, the SNI folks helped me out with a $300 delay pay.....but, God, what an ordeal

$741 for 237 miles......or $1041 for 237 miles with the $300 kicked in. Also, it ran me through the house for the weekend. So, while not great, not bad either.

You're being disingenuous. You're well aware I was referring to the detention pay.

$300 for 48 hours down is horrible regardless of how good the mileage pay is.

Troll onward. If he's getting paid a rate to hand unload the trailer why would he also get detention? It's his responsibility to get the product off the trailer, not the receiver. I'd say the fact he got anything is good

Losing days between appointments (as I suspect the case was) = lost income. He was still detained from turning miles.

I don't care what "luck" has to do with it, being paid $300 for two days just flat sucks.

i think the point was he took that long on his own I think .. Meaning it took 2 days because he felt like it . But none the less the truck grossed 4.39 a mile roughly on 237 miles for 2 days with a fuel cost of maybe 120 so his net revenue per day was fine for the days spent .

    mickimause and stevep1977 Thank this.

Yes it's sucks...but it doesn't occur often. Everyone gets jam once in awhile.
