    Hello,

I am interested in applying for the regional tanker position with SNI out of Kesbey, NJ. I live near Newark and at the moment I don't have a vehicle. Is there public transportation near the Keasbey location? I checked google and it said I could take a train from Newark to South Amboy but then I would have to bus and\or taxi it from there. Any ideas?

Is it true that you pick which six days you want off every month?

    Thank You

Good question I'm trying to get in that division too. I was told most drivers do 12 on 3 off. Depending on what the other drivers at that terminal schedule.

Just catch a school bus. They park a bunch of them there. Mostly short buses. :biggrin_2552:

The closest city is Perth Amboy. I called a taxi service and they said it costs between 5 and 12 bucks from the train station depending on where you are going in Keasbey. Do you work there? Are these buses a service to SNI drivers?

Hopefully I'll be at the Paulsboro terminal.

I couldn't tell you. I work for Superior carriers based in NC. We use that Express Tank Wash along with most of the major chemical carriers. 5-12$ plus train fare wouldn't be too bad if you stay out several weeks at a time. I spend that in Gas driving 30-40 miles to my terminal.

    Yes and no.

Most OTR drivers are ask to submit a "schedule". How that actually works, is a mystery to me. I work a different "department".

I will tell you, they try to please the driver as time and load schedules permit. Speaking to a recruiter would be your best bet.
