I've tried both and they want experience. I almost landed a local gig that only drives to Washington state and back but they needed a TWIC and already looked at a driver with more experience. I will give SNI a chance.

Anyone know what I can use for a home address? Folks are moving out of state but I want to remain in the one I am living in. Thanks for your suggestions.

Decker and DOT both hire new cdl grads; it's on their websites.
Which state are you in? Just rent a room from someone. You don't have to stay there, just use it for an address.
Google "Rooms for Rent in XYZ town/state. Many drivers do this; rent a room then live in the truck.

The downside of working for Western Express is their way of getting things done. I drove for them out of Nashville. They will say they will do something and not do it and wonder why you didnt get it done. As it wasnt really for them to get what ever done.

Case in point. I was to get on a bus to go recover an abandoned truck. Some one walked by and asked if they could help me (looked like upper management in a 3 piece suit). Told them what the company expected me to do. He said well I can call you a cab. I replied that would be great. Half an hour later no cab and I find out what he meant was he would find me a phone book and I could call a cab as he was too busy to help me.

All trucking companies are just wonderful when a driver needs help and the company comes to the rescue.
Once the driver is comfortable and got what they want from the company, now it's a horrible company. We see this all the time on this forum.

Exactly ;) this is in all lines of work. I could do the same with my current job but I don’t. I know everyone will have a different experience so I keep it positive with the new people
