SNI/SFI Automatics: Is It True?

I have spoken extensively with SFI over the last couple of weeks. They are still getting manuals as well as automatics. At the moment, their Charlotte office (maybe that's their only office, I don't know) as manuals only as far as new trucks are concerned...they have a mixture of trans types in used trucks.

 

Well, there ya go. Amazing the information you can get when you're willing to call the principals directly.

 

That requires too much effort when the truck stop lawyer has all the REAL info!

 

Our recent experience was that we wanted an auto and we got an auto... lol We didn't have time to try and order a truck and they didn't have time to have one brought from another location (Charlotte, Green Bay and Phoenix are the SFI locations) If you go in with your own truck you are guaranteed to have a manual shift... if it's a manual shift.

 

Manual transmissions?
