When someone points out how lazy kids are these days, I'm going to point them to this thread to show where they learned it from.

This is not a discussion about “being lazy”. Try and keep up.

And what non-lazy, but safe way is there to actually clear the snow off? I have yet to see a universally available way, and since you obviously know how to and just think others are too lazy to would you please share your wisdom?

roshea, drvrtech77 and buddyd157 Thank this.

I'm not going to say that I've done it, but I would if I had to. If there's snow on my flatbed, I clear it off. I am careful and take my time and have yet to fall off or even come close. I have a ladder that folds out to 17'. Sometimes I have to climb on 14' loads. Combine these factors, and I would have a cleared roof.

But I actually care about how the snow on my trailer affects other drivers. I don't try to justify not clearing it off.

So you have no safe way to clear snow off a van. Gotcha.

I guess if you're the type of person who also thinks motorcycles are unsafe, then sure. It's as safe as you want to make it. Take your time and don't work near the edge, and it is safe. If you want to try and clear it at 186mph on one foot while hanging on by your toes, then yeah, it's unsafe.
