I am looking to get on with a company that offers a company paid cdl training in exchange for a commintement to work for them (like what prime offers). I would like a company that is good for me living in the LA/Orange County Area, as far as getting to go home when possible and training cloose by.....
--or should i just go with schneider,prime? out to there locations,
---also is prime the best as far as making a little money while you accrue your miles?
---one last thing, can you leave after 6 months with Prime, pay half of your school and go local if you find a company?
any info would help..

Schneider isn't taking students right now.
And regardless of who you go to. Working 6 months, instead of a year. Doesn't relieve you of 1/2 the debt. You still owe all of it. Because once you leave, you're looking at finance charges being tacked on.
Anyway. You might check into Swift or Werner. -
Prime is a good company. If you leave after 6 months, you will owe them the remainder of your money for training. I'm with Dance there. Better and easier to find a local company with over a year OTR anyway. And, who knows, you might get out here and actually LIKE it.

4000 for their school, paid over two years of working for them.you pay 15 per week, they contribute 25. you get .28 cpm mile to start.i dont have a problem with paying them the school back as long as i can pay off the differnece and wont have problems if i want out....and they say i have to have enought to cover the payment in the account they set up to pay the loan???
