In all seriousness... I'd look for a company... your FIRST company... to be one that stayed on the very southern side of things.
The i10 corridor is pretty weather friendly and since you ARE newbies you need the time to get your sea legs.
Time to know how to handle unexpected traffic snarls.. idiots that pass you on the shoulder accelerating from the ramp.. getting cut off by a State police cruiser-- the last one you'd expect. A myriad of problems you can't even imagine.
You definitely don't need winter weather hampering yourimmediate learning curve.
I'm here to tell you i80 and i90 in Wyoming and Montana are UNFORGIVING.
Use the first year to learn the basics before you jump into the SUCK.
Just my 2c... I wish I had been afforded that 30 years ago.austinmike and Steel Dragon Thank this. -
Hobby Lobby is an excellent company, but you both would need 1 yr experience. We only have 1 DC, and that's in OKC. After some time on the road, and safe driving, you both should check it out.
Also, your GF would have to become your wife, lol.
I have been with them for 3.5 yrs.
Not sure how long both of you want to spend out on the road. But, I get home ever weekend.#1don and ClimbRocks Thank this. -
