I was talking to a driver for CR England last week who just got back into trucking after ten years of being out of the industry. He was saying the same thing, that he couldn't find a company to hire him due to being gone for so long. He finally called England and they took him on no questions asked. This may be something you can look into to get some current experience under your belt.

IF CRE is your only option then you may want to skip it entirely -
Lol I hear you there. Guess it depends on how bad he wants back in the industry.

If he's going to do that, might as well go to Not-so-Swift. At least there, there's no shortage of loads. Bill

I went through the same problem. I was out of trucking for three years. I ended up going to Schneider, at the time they had there own school. Went thru their training, worked two years for them to get my school obligation taken care of and then went to a good paying company where I have been for the last 9 years.

Have you tried RE West?

Trogdor Thanks this.

I'll look them up and check it out. Thanks.
