just an FYI , hubby works in the oilfield , has for 2 years after 28 otr...the next BIG boom area is San Angelo Texas...

Main difference from what I understand is schedule. I work frac.. 14/7 on a rotating 12 hour(plus drive time) shift.
Cement as far as I know is on call all the time. The work of course is different as well. Both involve lots of waitingsecurity58 and Texas Bound Thank this. -

So I officially start work on Thursday (orientation). I'm excited and grateful, been getting a lot of advice about the first few weeks, much appreciated. Definitely a company you can work at for a long time and been trying to learn whatever I can beforehand.
