So, do these new anti-idling laws apply to everyone or just truckers, or just certain size trucks. And if it applies to everyone, wouldn't people stuck in rush hour traffic, or waiting in the drive thru line at Mickey D's, also have to shut their engines off.
And won't this bring about the formation of a new branch of the government that will hire people to go around and just check for idling violations. And what will the cost of that little enterprise cost all of us.
Typical of people wanting to control people without thinking any farther than 1 second down the road. Obviously, wannabe truckers who failed the written test.
So how are company drivers dealing with anti-idle rules?

These laws are aimed mainly at Class 8 trucks which are the big trucks. There are also laws about leaving animals and children in vehicles when it is hot and cold. These do not apply to the trucks when a truck driver is concerned for some odd reason. These states believe that the driver can be rested when it is 100 degrees in the bunk.
Just curious thought "What if the driver has there young child with them and had to have them in such conditions?" -
I just idle.....................I don't care about the laws
