    I realize that. What I meant is I would just extend my usual 15 minute break another 15 minutes. Because under the old rules there was an unspoken rule among DOT that you couldn't log 11 hours straight. Well you technically could but it would raise their eyebrows.


    These new rules are such BS. So glad I'm not driving at least not now. Who knows what the future holds though.

    If you run Open-deck....You need to stop and check the load (At least) every 300 miles or 6 hours...Whichever comes first...One could then take their break after if they so choose....

    I really see no change. I get my 30 while loading/unloading, or if I'm driving I stop for a half hour nap anyway. And as long as I get stopped before 7pm Saturday, I get a fresh 70 every week. Same as I've always done.
