I should be clearing 80k my first year as a team driver driving for FFE. Lots of driving and loading trailers. Lots of inner city driving.
If I can figure out how to post pics Id post a few of my stubs so you can see. Worked through my home time week and just got the Qualcomm message saying I grossed 2450.00 for last week. Also expecting at around 5000 miles next week. We are getting a long run. This current week wont be as large. Some weeks are still like that even teaming. Most weeks are good though.
Picking a decent company and having good work ethics will be what you need.
If you are teaming and looking to make the most you can you will need a good partner with comparable work ethics. A guy that will drive when it's his turn and not not say something like just park it and I'll drive in a few hours... Then 6 hours later he's finally rolling. I had that once. We were always late. He had tons of junk for comfort. If you get that ask for a different guy. You are looking to make money, Not sit parked on a ramp somewhere while your codriver sleeps for 15 hours straight.
My current guy is really good. He works! So we are a good team and we get #### done and make money.Lepton1, Texas_hwy_287 and Chinatown Thank this. -
80k. And that's your first year trucking ?.. pretty good -
Considering this thread was started in October? Based on October you would be lucky if you saw 3-5k (presuming you have to deal with traning and all the new to company headaches). As the new year has only just started
