Most people that are experienced with a tire bar will not remove the outside wheel to change a tire.
Just jack it up and bar it off and bar the new tire on.

Yep. Had a dude do that on a trailer tire one time in Ft. Worth. I was like, I ain't never seen some stuff like this before. But he was really fast and obviously knew what he was doing. I was really impressed.

I got 4 of the Ironman Chineesium tires for the price of 2 Michelin.
But I will not buy tires from Vietnam, for obvious reasons.

I use the lugger tread pattern year round cause who knows where
some dumb ### will need to be towed out of; I get in some wild places.
I live in a "Touristy" area, cause you're visiting a wildlife area, or marsh
to look at the deer, doesn't mean you can drive your Prius in there.

Curbed this tire at the corner gas station less than 1 mile from my house.
I drove by here for 50 plus years?
This time, a car zipped out in front of me, and stopped at the red light,
I was turning right, so there was room next to them to get by,
but I gave them too much room - as a courtesy, and got the curb by an inch.

This is a 19.5 tire, you're not doing the tire bar dance on the truck.
I used to do these in about 20 minutes, I'm 71 on the 13th, now, not so much.
Last one I barred off, and put a new one back on, took over an hour.
My advice, don't ever get old, you won't like it.

IH Truck Guy, Feedman, Lav-25 and 11 others Thank this.

FYI, I've seen thieves steal tires this way, deflate, bar it off, gone. :happy3:
