No they said they will get into the financial aspect once I am told when they next classes start. I completed every single step needed I just need to walk through the door.

TN Technology center in Nashville. With my pell grant I should only have to pay around $600. I already paid for a lot of things out of pocket like the CDL license, DOT physical, and materials though.

Step one: Go to trucking school.

    Step two:

    Step three: Profit.

Seriously... I wouldn't wait around for them.

Are they waiting for more students?

Have you passed all the online tests for your permit? Have you read the state study guide four times?

They don't know when their next class starts?

Is this like someone's backyard driving school?

Not being sacarcastic, kind of, but I would maybe look into some more schooling options. I would be leery of giving them my money.

OK I just received a letter today stating that I have school orientation on the 23rd. It only said the date, time, it will last four hours, and there will be a drug screen. That is kinda funny that they give everyone a week to get the bad stuff out of their system haha. So what else do you think I should expect to do for the school orientation? I want to make sure I am prepared. I will call the school on Monday (if they answer) and ask them as well but wanted to ask you guys in case they leave something out on purpose to surprise us.

I haven't been posting as much lately since I have been programming a bunch of scripts for my sites to make things easier by automating a few tasks. You can program a computer to do anything, and it is pretty much running everything important. The only thing I need to be around for is to verify the payments and customer service. I really hope my business continues to do well by itself while I am driving, I will make really good money then :) It is said that I was never given a shot in the real world as a full time programmer even though I have over 12 years of experience, won awards, sold thousands of scripts, taught programming classes, etc. Perhaps trucking has been waiting for me the whole time :)

Yeah, they should know when their next opening is. They should say something like "the next two classes are full but we can have you starting on Monday October 10" or something to that effect. I wouldn't sit on my duff waiting for them to call back if they can't give you the straight poop up front. Time is money. Get on the horn and start calling other schools. One of the primary rules to live by is to have a back up option and a back up option for your back up option. Crap hits the fan, you should be carrying goggles and a scooper at all times and be prepared to use them.

    NewNashGuy Thanks this.

Can you program them to feed our doggies and to let them out at least twice a day? Hehheheheee and to play with them for a few hours each day? That way we could take a vacation!

You would think that, but possibly they do not have enough students to fill the class. That would be a reason to not know when a class will be full enough to start.
