Schneider should give you a list of what you need.
Put everything in one duffle bag.
    Pack light.
Couple changes of clothes and shower shoes.

Steel Dragon and VantaiTatted Thank this.

Forgot, you'll need linen for the bunk. Recommend an extra large sleeping bag and pillow since you'll be swapping trucks often and the mattresses won't be new every time.
So, now you'll have one duffle bag and one rolled up sleeping bag to deal with. Keep it simple on that type of job.

Have you ever done any position like this? I wish someone here actually did the jet dedicated route so I could get some first had pros and cons. Ive already got the mentality that regardless of company the first year of this type of work is going to have growing pains. I am just tired of humping freight off a sideloader, no consistency, old trucks and low pay.

I haven't done a job like that. Most of my career I pulled reefers coast to coast.
When I did have to change truck, usually had way too much stuff to deal with.

    Steel Dragon Thanks this.

I did dedicated Walmart for USX for a little bit. There was no slip seating so you should ask about that. The routes changed constantly because they used whoever had hours.

The job is super easy. You just have to be on time and stand there to peel the labels off the pallets. Walmarts are easy to get into and there is plenty of room to get in the door.

I'm not sure it would give you a real taste of OTR because it is nothing like OTR.

The best part was being able to pick up food for the truck whenever I needed to.

    I love stuff like that.

Put me on that route. Things like that is motivating. Call me damaged.. he he.

WVa has been nothing but good to me. Things get heated now and then with them brakes but it's not a issue. And the people are great.

If you’re delivering to Walmart with one of their trailers you can almost always sleep on the property either at the store or the dc.
