    I don't doubt it.
CA can be tough but , very forgiving as well.
Born and raised in CA and started out as a city driver in the bay area.

It's just another reason to double bag your garbage in plastic, and leave it in California.

They even utilize binoculars at the scales as you comming down the lane.
I didn't know it at the time but I missed hooking my safety chain on a set.
I'm pretty sure it was cause they guy I was teaming with interrupted me while I was hooking up.
Anyway we get to cottonwood and get pulled in cause CHP spotted that with binoculars as we were conning down the ramp, lol

I’ve seen the Echo POE in UT use binoculars too, so it isn’t just a CA thing. Anymore with all the cameras that are being put on ramps they really don’t need that old fashioned tech anymore.

LOL...you guys that don't like California, just bring your trailer to the state line and us California truckers will take it from there.
California is a PITA to truck in but it can be done with a little extra effort and diligence.
On a side note, every CHP that I've dealt with in the Tehachapi- Mojave-Kramer Junction area has had the personality of somebody who probably strangles baby bunnies as a hobby.
Maybe that area is some kind of punishment duty.
Regardless, there's two areas in California that we always take special care to be legal...Mojave and the Bay Area

I think all of the CHP's working Mohave either live in Barstow or Needles in run down mobile homes.. People down there a bat sh** crazy. Living in that God forsaken desert does that to a person.
