So after being on the road for 6 months I have found out that I would like to find a company that kind of Suits my needs. Last year in January I got a speeding ticket for 30 miles per hour over, it was not a CDL vehicle and it was a speeding ticket, not a reckless driving. Also had another speeding ticket 10 miles per hour over in June. To make matters even better I'm a convicted felon and I finished my sentence in 2014 and was convicted in 2009. I now work with a small company and their safety score is 99. So I got to go. I graduated from Roadmaster in November 2016 . I'd like to find a company where I can travel with my pitbull. Can anyone recommend a company that may take me

I hear Carolina cargo or Western express accept people with horrible driving records.

Curious what reason you had for driving 30mph over the speed limit

30 over...that hurts. Regardless of the vehicle you were driving, a CDL license is STILL a CDL license.

You do understand that companies with a decent score are going to wad up you application, don't you?

I do understand that, but that doesn't mean I'm going to give up. Driving was not my career then it is now. I'll work hard to find a good company. I knew I'd be ridiculed on here but I needed help and ideas

Doesn't mean the end of your career man. @Chinatown
He is the resident expert on who hires with what driving records. This is the land of opportunity, all is not lost. Heck it could be a blessing in disguise if you end up working something else better than trucking.

    crb and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
