So I have a past. It's haunting me

Thank you. Yeah I've yet to defend my 30 over ticket because on paper it doesn't matter. I honestly wouldn't change what I did that day. It was a long night and I did what I thought was right in my heart. It was before driving was my career though. Happened January 2016. At that company we worked all over the country doing HVAC. A speeding ticket was common and laughed at by our company. Was all about getting there fast getting it done and hitting the next place

There is a strong possibility that you may have to take a NON-driving job to be able to sustain yourself, at least for a certain number of years, I would estimate 10 years. Try to get a job in one place for a full 10 years.

I say this because you want those speeding tickets to "drop" off of your record. Also, you want your criminal record to go as far back into the past as possible.

In the future, reapply for training and a job with a reputable trucking company. If you have a CDL, or have had any driving job in the past, I believe that the trucking companies will go back a full 10 years of your employment and working life.

10 years may seem like a lot, but it will go by quickly. Time does not stand still.

Good luck to you! God bless you and your family!

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Folks, the guy isn't trying to get a job hauling spent fuel rods or military equipment, he wants a job where he can take his dang dog out with him. I know he'll get a chance somewhere. Hell, I know of a fellow that rolled two trucks in 9 months and he was hired...anyone wanna guess with who?

Hang in there brother, you can do it...just slow down a tad in your pov, okay.

Thanks guys. Yeah I've had a few job offers. I already currently work with a CDL company. Many places will take me with my record. It's just finding one that meets my individual needs. I don't like job hopping so I will stay here and continue getting experience until the right job for me opens up

No, they will hire you with one though.

This particular "driver" was hired by...

    Drumroll please...

    Swift, of course.

We had a guy roll a truck here. He was rewarded with a brand new glider
