I talked to a guy I used to work with who went over to work with some Russians. He said they maintain the equipment very good no questions asked and paid for everything on time via cash.

A couple weeks later i spoke with a guy at a truckstop who worked for Russians. Said he doesn't even have a log book in the truck. Equipment was extremely busted up, all the tires were #### near bald. He bragged about running 1,000 miles a dag. He said he has made $10,000 in 4 months and was proud of it and was trying to give me their phone number. I guess 10k in all those months and miles is a great living for some people. He also said they changed their name and numbers twice since he's been with them.

When is the last time an E-log driver had his logs checked by a DOT cop?

11.00 a mile. About 36.75 an hour. About Minimum wage. I would rather do American. Mc Donald's pays better, I guess but the view is not the same. And you don't get to drive cool cars. Hob Knobbing is not my style, I want to get paid. Fuel, Insurance, tires, oil, permits, about 6.75 an hour. But it's fun.

Had my e-logs checked a few times. They usually ask to see the summary page.It shows the hours worked and hours available for today and on your 70 hours.Would be hard to fudge this page.Vineland scale in Ontario has an inspector that went and took an e-log course and can read and interperate any page.
