30 years ago not one driver would have ever thought to complain about a running reefer or a cattle truck. they all knew it was a truckstop as they were driving a truck
of course all the lots were unpaved ruts and holes as big as volkswagons showers were gross better to go dirty
    it is all luxury today
and i only walked uphill oneway to school not uphill both ways like my dad

30 years ago drivers did not have the net to complain.
They also did not cling to mommy.

My dad also walked uphill both ways, and I got the point.
And it's actually 'uphill, in the snow, with the wind howling, both ways'.
    LOL

We still have to deal with reefer's, and cattle trucks stinking up our cabs, and stepping out to smell and step in someone's pee, and ...

I really feel sorry for the drivers that haul cattle. I only have to deal with the stink every now and then.
But, who knows? Maybe they like it.
I know I always liked being at the Dude Ranch when I was a kid - after the first week anyway.
The smells became familiar, and something to be expected.

Trucking is not a life for crybabies.

    SHC Thanks this.

I drive a car hauler and it has bottom side exhaust...When I pull into a truck stop as Im driving around looking for a truck with the windows down when I find one I park right next to him lining up my exhaust with the window.. I also blow my train horn but only after 11:00pm... I will fast idle my truck around 1600rpms just to make it noisier and to burn more fule plus it ensures exhaust fumes will get in the open window.... Like I said to all the pee pee cry baby boo boo pants.... wal-mart has huggies and wet wipes on sale I think the baby powder is on sale as well....

I parked my butt at the quiet end of my house today. Of course my wife cruises through the whole empty house and has to come right next to me and complain about something. Talk about rude!

Wives... got no respect these days.
