I dont really think Im a super trucker I just drive fast lol... However I back off In construction zones heck sometimes I even slow down to let a truck over.... The only ones that pizz me off are thoses that go to pass and spend the next 1/5 miles to pass going under the speed limit... really guys/girls that cant pass someone In under a mile...STOP IT........AND NEVER PASS ANYONE AGAIN ...EVER.....

I am parked in a Wal Mart Lot right now with my APU running..... I made sure I parked next to a Motor Home and not a Semi so that they won't complain about me on the Threads here.

I sleep with my truck off most of the time.I try to find the trucks with no reefer or apus.I think the reefers arent as bad as the apus with their exhaust and noise aiming at my head.they should mount them at the head of the person who chooses to run them

For many years now, a person had the common sense to know that in the arena of Trucking, that there was something known as Diesel Engines. and that they would have to go out on the road for days at a time. They understood that they would have to sleep in that little box for more time than in their homes. They understood that to stay warm or cool, power was needed to supply that. So they Idled their trucks, understanding that their fellow trucker was going to do the same. There were even Movies made lifting up the lifestyle that they chose. Now today..... Well, Cry babies have taken over society, even Trucking.

I also sleep with my truck off.

However, I do not mind a truck running next to me or a reefer.

    Ever hear of white noise?

Dont know the facts here, but?, t/s fill up fast, I pull a reefer, If possible, Ill park next to other reefers, I there is only one spot left?, sorry, but Im taking it, But courtesy goes both ways, a couple of years ok, I was parked at a small truck stop on I 70 in kansas, there where a couple of flat beds there, so i parked as far away as I coud, In the middle of the night i flatbed paked next to me and turned off my reefer, that woke me up, not hearing the reefer, I went out to see why it had stopped and found the toggle switch in the off possition, I turned it back on got back in my truck, and about 20 minutes went by and it turned off again, so went out again found it in the off possition again, this time when I turned it back on, I stood on the catwalk behind the sleeper, being dark out and the cab extenders, you couldnt see me, waited about 20 minutes, and saw a hand reaching to the toggle switch and kicked him in the head, He called the cops and said I had assulted him, When the cops arrived and asked me what happened, I told them he was turnning off my reefer, And i was parked there first and there was room for him to park else where, he told the cops that my reefers was keeping him up, the polioce informed him that he could press charges on me for the assult, but i could also press charges on him for tampering with my load, and that his charge is far greater than mine, he opted to not press charges on me, if i wouldnt press charges on him, I ask the cops to have him move to another spot, the driver decided to leave the t/s
