    I almost had a similar issue. The day I took my road test happened to be the same week that the registry system for the entire province of Alberta went down due to a fire in the server room. I was the only one out of 6 other people who paid registries for the road test the month before so I was the only one who could take the test. I still had to wait 2 days before the servers were up and could have my license processed.
