Well we heard today about it. , I hope u guys are not working at the terminals that are closing.

 

I was thinking of applying to them...I'm still getting e-mails on a weekly basis. Believe I'll hold out, though.

 

There's alot of guys that left good jobs to come to fedex recently who are now SOL.

 

My buddies terminal in Philadelphia is closing. And he works for freight not national.

 

sure there is a merger coming, fed ex and ups will soon merge,

the new company will be called FED UP

 

From what we know fedex is offering employment to its employees who terminal is closing . They can still work 4 fedex as whatever as long as there is an open position available so I really hope for the best for those ppl who terminal is closing , and for the ppl who don't know what's next .

 

I wish all of you at FedEx Freight nothing but the best. I've been through two coo's at Con-way - one closed my first terminal and the other gave me some great options. Just hang in there and it will probably work out for you even though you'll be dealing with a lot of confusion and uncertainty.
