To Money Baby: In response to your query , I was a company driver til the end of December then took the truck I was in as a lease purchase.
-
To all the new drivers I wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year

Comment and observation. This last week I saw a truck 5 #'s past mine in the lease fleet. I would conclude that KLLM is at least able to get. trucks there. I will also comment that during christmas week KLLM made a major change on truck assignment for conpany drivers. (See elsewhere).

Re KLLM and some items . 1. Truck availibility. KLLM does have lease trucks available. Co trucks are considerabile tighter & there might be a wait.
2. Hiring areas yes KLLM does get accept drivers from Florida. The caveat is south of Orlando / Tampa due to a small amount of freight, one would have to deadhead(unpaid) north for loads. KLLM is not hiring co drivers out of Florida on account of this.
I will say this KLLM will always at least accept applications and ph calls to recruiting and times may change infuture. -
Good luck with KLLM, just remember when you become dishearted with them, all companies aren't that crappy.

Each company have their ups and downs. So are worse then others.

Prof.: where exactely is "elsewhere"? Curious about the "major change on truck assignment for company drivers" and just what you were referring to.
Thanks for all your input. -
can anyone tell me if kllm is a good company to work for

It's working for me. I like it much better since I'm on the midwest regional. I'm sure there are better companies, but I can promise you there are much worse.
