Seriously pal, you have how much...twenty-one year's experience? This much, and you have never heard of 'regional'...????
    :biggrin_2556:

Granted, just three short years ago, a noob like me had three choices---OTR, OTR, and OTR. Things change bub. Also, if expecting the money and terms of a contract to be honored is calling the shots. then I call all day and night.

For instance, Schneider's IN WRITING offer (job description) to me is that all driving is to be performed within 350 miles from Chicago. Experienced as you are, you should know that no mountain ranges nor NYC or LA are withing this range of Chicago.

Now, I have question for YOU champ: suppose they breach contract and send me to NYC and LA? In this case, who is washing out who?

Don't worry, if the money is not even enough to feed me out on 6 day OTR (regional), and then maybe another four Ben Franklins beyond subsistence level, then yes, I will likely wash out. I've washed-out of five courier companies last year when the money was not right--I come out broke, but squeaky clean.

If I make you happy and wash out, I then will probably just apply to drive a garbage truck for Waste Management and settle for just $50k/year with 55 hour weeks, workers comp and all insurances.

IN WRITING offer (job description) = contract?

Uh boy... lots to learn... make sure you get a signed copy of the contract, (job description) and have your attorney look it over because a breach of contract has legal ramifications. SMH...

When did you decide that Schneider is not a BFI by the way?

champ chump and pal is a nice way of addressing a driver when it is more then possible as a STUDENT
you wont even become a driver or last a year
just another know it all nobody

the truth to me is BFI is only that as bottom dwelling drivers are thier only employees
the trucker shortage is because to few people are qualified to be able to do it
past recieving a CDL issued by the state

Lemme tell you something (Edited to meet site rules) I started with Schneider National 21 years ago. That written job offer is about the best toilet paper money can buy, I was supposed to be on a Kimberly-Clark dedicated account, went through school and orientation with them and guess what no dedicated Kimberly Clark! SO before you call me out Mr. "I've washed out of 5 courier companies" ( which I wouldn't be proud of btw) you need to wake up and smell the b.s.

The "who can urinate the further out the window while driving down the road" nonsense is OVER!!!!!

Name calling and bickering are NOT allowed here. Anymore of this, and one of us will start banning people!

Its okay Moderator---I appreciate you stepping in, but I would NOT let them bother me if I were paid to let them bother me.

I am glad I bother them though. :yes2557: I especially like the cat that thinks that I believe the world is MY oyster---HA HA! if only it were!

That's not why the forum is here. We are an information based forum, free of cussing, free of spam, free of commercial interest, so people can share and learn about the trucking industry. Nobody wants to have to sort through a bunch of nonsense to read about a topic. Little Johnny should be able to read about a future career without being shell shocked.

We understand there are friends made and regular members conversing on a daily basis which is fine. It's part of forum life. But we are going to try our best to keep the fighting and bickering to a minimum. Save that for the CB! Repeat offenders will be shown the door.
