So my boss gave me an ultimatum

    He says that he may have to let all unvaxxed drivers go starting next week Says "I'm a part of the problem" and that I should get vaxxed. Says "You should be prepared for any actions, we're going to keep you close by because January 15th, yada yada". Then they gave me a trip to Georgia.

    I'm thinking this is just a scare tactic and am still waiting to hear back from my union rep.

    Am standing my ground and looking for a new job because I dont play that way.

    BTW I'm in the company's top three for mileage second year running at only four years overall experience. So it really is their loss.

    If you're a cross border driver and aren't vaxxed what did you expect?

    Agree with it or not this didn't sneak up on anyone.

    Why's he waiting until now is the real question. It's not like you can go get a jab today and be ready for January 15.

    trucking companies laying off all their truck drivers because they arent vaccinated... i think they forgot who keeps the bills paid in a trucking company. it sure isnt management. they will be out of business before long and deserve it as well..
