You can no longer use a clinic that is on the national registry. You have to go exactly where they want you to go. What a joke.

sooner or later, you will have to go to the company locations (terminals) no matter where you live, and they will bus loads of drivers to thier own spayshell clinic....

then toss you out, all on your own, to get home, if you fail..

I've been with Swift for over 12 years, and I have always been told which clinic to use.
There never has been a choice, for company drivers at least.

My company tells us where we have to go. Big deal. They pay for it, they can dictate where I go. As it is, there is a Concentra place within walking distance (I've walked there several times before) from our yard.

It was that way when I was there, both for drug tests and biennial physicals. It's an overreach in my opinion, but it certainly isn't uncommon.

For that matter, I think it's just crazy that the Department of Transportation gets to certify that a licensed doctor is qualified to do a physical exam.

That’s how it is at my place.

You can get it done wherever you want, but if you want the company to pick up the tab for it you have to go to their clinic.

It’s not a big deal going to a place the company wants until you get caught up in the cpap scam. Then your license gets held hostage until you comply.
