I am always looking for information on GOOD trucking companies here and for some reason...every time I type in a name there are threads for that company under the Report a BAD company..so is there truly a good company out there? Whether Van, Reefer or tanker...
So tell me...is there a "GOOD" trucking company out there?

The answer to that is HIGHLY subjective. It all depends upon what someone considers good or bad. Good for you may be horrible for me and vice versa. Right now I'm running for a local bulk tanker outfit that also runs some vans. The pay is just ok, the trucks are just ok, and some of the equipment (trailers mainly) is pure crap, but..... The place is very laid back, rarely has appointment times (except van back hauls
), has fast trucks 76+, and has decent insurance for $20/week for a single, and I am home pretty much everyday unless they have some expedited loads out of state and then those pay very well to make it worth being away from home overnight. I'm still scouring the ads, internet & newspapers to find that "perfect" driving job and in 20 years, I haven't found it yet

Tanker or flatbed if u have the experience....they pay way more then dry van...for instance ive heard o/o said they make 1500-1800 doing van....I did that when I was a company driver pulling flatbed...I have my own truck now though. .not bragging or boasting just trying to tell u its really not money in van
