A few things you need to ask the recruiters -

How many miles a week are you going to get at the .60 cpm job?

How are you paid at the $1750 - $2500 job? Is it by the hour/mile/trip/day a percentage of the gross?

Are the jobs 5 day, 6 day work schedules?

Does the pay quoted include bonuses, incentives or overtime?

    What is the base pay?

What is the average pay for their current drivers?

    Same thing.
    1hr at 60mph - $36 x 50hrs a week = $1800
    $1750 at 50hrs any work a week = $35

Not bad, but another thing to look at is the equipment. How do the trucks look, how do the trailers look, hows they safety rating of the carrier? There's more to the picture then money. Don't get me wrong money is great, but if you're rolling down the road and have to worry about missed tanker inspections, and crap equipment that will raise your csa points find something else.

    You want tanker experience.

Designate the two jobs as "heads" or "tails"

    Flip a coin.

    Take the winning job.

    Stay there a year.

Better opportunities will then be open to you.

You've been screwing around long enough.

    Get to work.

    I wish you every success...
